46<p>Opens the specified file.</p><p>The file at the specified path is opened write-only and made writable. A file is created and opened write-only if it does not exist at the specified path and the <CODE>createIfNotExist</CODE> argument has been set to TRUE. This function returns any error that occurs while it is opening the file. <BR><B>Note:</B> This function uses a large amount of buffer space on the stack because it converts the path name from a multibyte character string into a wide character string. Pay careful attention to the stack size.</p><p>For expanded save data, you must explicitly create a file with <a href="../../../nn/fs/TryCreateFile.html"><CODE>nn::fs::TryCreateFile</CODE></a> before calling this function.</p></div>
