This page describes the CreativeStudio main menu.
The following five items are included on the CreativeStudio main menu.
This menu is related to CreativeStudio file I/O.
It can be used to load intermediate files and save or export edited data.
This menu can be used to perform undo or redo on data edited using CreativeStudio and delete loaded data.
This menu can be used to create cameras, lights, and so on.
This menu can be used to open the Properties panel used under CreativeStudio in a separate window.

This menu allows you to check version information about CreativeStudio and view the manual.
This menu is related to CreativeStudio file I/O.
Selecting Open displays an Open file dialog box for the corresponding item in a separate window where the file to be loaded can be selected.

| Intermediate files | Loads the selected intermediate files into CreativeStudio. |
| Particle Link | Loads the particle link intermediate file into CreativeStudio. (For particle link only) |
Closes all contents that have been loaded into CreativeStudio.
The following five methods of saving data are available under CreativeStudio.
When saving particle links, save all and other saving methods are not supported.
To save particle links, always use particle link.

| Save all | Overwrites and saves all loaded intermediate files. |
| Save selection to files | Saves files that include content selected on the Contents panel as intermediate files. |
| Save selection and its dependencies to files | Saves files that include content selected on the Contents panel and files containing dependency data as intermediate files. |
| Particle Link | Saves the particle link selected on the Contents panel as an intermediate file. (For particle link only) |
| Merge and save files | Integrates loaded data and saves it in a single .cres file. |
Provisional Specification
CreativeStudio specifications are such that texture intermediate files are not saved.
However, texture intermediate files can also be saved if there is a possibility that some kind of problem will arise with them when Save is selected.
This specification is provisional and may change in the future.
Converts intermediate files loaded into CreativeStudio into binary files and saves.
Send to viewer is used when outputting a model or animation loaded into CreativeStudio to an actual console.

Merging can be executed on selected contents.
Either of the following two methods can be selected for the CreativeStudio merge process.

| Merge with selected model | Model data loaded into CreativeStudio can be selected and merged with any model's intermediate file. |
| Run the merge wizard | Opens the MergeWizard in a separate window. The MergeWizard panel can be used to take models and textures loaded into CreativeStudio and merge them with any selected intermediate file. |

Allows you to write or load the selected material information.

| Load into material | Executing Load into material when a material loaded into CreativeStudio is selected allows you to load separate material information (intermediate files) for the selected material. |
| Write material | Executing Write material when a material loaded into CreativeStudio is selected saves the selected material information as an intermediate file. Saved material intermediate files can be loaded into a different material by selecting File > Input/output selection > Load into material. |
This page describes Optimize selected models.
Under CreativeStudio, data size can be compressed and the load on an actual console due to matrix calculations can be lessened by using a 3D optimization converter to delete nodes that are not directly related to rendering.

This menu can be used to perform undo or redo on data edited using CreativeStudio and delete loaded data.

| Lights | Allows you to create fragment lights, ambient lights, vertex lights and hemispherical lights. |

| Scene environment | Allows you to configure lights, cameras and fogs for each separate model when a scene includes more than one model. |
| Lookup table set | Allows you to create lookup table sets. |
| Particle Link | Allows you to create a particle link Properties panel. |
| Expert | Allows you to create shaders. |
Allows you to open the following panels in a separate window.

| Curve Editor | Allows you to edit lookup tables and material animations using curves. |
| Contents panel | Displays various content loaded into CreativeStudio and cameras and other items that have been created. |
| Properties panel | Opens the Properties panel associated with various content. |
| Console panel | Displays information related to tasks performed using CreativeStudio. It also allows direct input of Python commands for execution. |
