23<H2>Description</H2>
24<P>This function initializes a V-Count alarm system. Unlike <CODE>OS_InitAlarm()</CODE>, this system does not use ticks.</P>
25<P>This function, <CODE>OS_InitVAlarm</CODE>, must be called before you use any of the V-Count alarm functions. It is called internally by the <CODE><A href="../init/OS_Init.html">OS_Init</A></CODE> function, so there is no need for the application to call it again. Subsequent calls of this function do nothing.</P>
26<P>Call <a href="OS_EndVAlarm.html"><code>OS_EndVAlarm()</code></a> when ending V-Count alarm systems. Perform initialization when using V-Count alarms again after that function ends.</P>
