24<P>Allocates a timer to the alarm system and initializes the alarm system.</P>
25<P>The alarm system uses ticks. Therefore, <CODE><A href="../time/OS_InitTick.html">OS_InitTick()</A></CODE> must be called and a timer allocated before this function is called.</P>
26<P>Call <CODE><A href="OS_EndAlarm.html">OS_EndAlarm()</A></CODE> to terminate the alarm system and release the allocated timer.</P>
