30<P>This function initializes the controllers. The <code>PADInit</code> function enables the controller sampling performed by the Revolution hardware. The controller sampling rate is specified by the <A href="../si/SISetSamplingRate.html"><CODE>SISetSamplingRate</CODE></A> function.</P>
31<P><B>Note:</B> The video interface must be initialized using the <A href="../vi/VIInit.html"><CODE>VIInit</CODE></A> function before calling the <CODE>PADInit</CODE> function. This is due to the fact that VI controls the timing of the sampling of hardware controller data.</P>
