34<P>This function returns the current location pointer for the specified graphics display list object. The actual display list data is or will be stored in the memory buffer, and the current location pointer indicates where future GD commands will be written to in the buffer.</P>
35<P>This function is similar to <A href="GDGetCurrPointer.html"><CODE>GDGetCurrPointer</CODE></A>. But this function is different because it is used for the specified <A href="GDLObj.html"><CODE>GDLObj</CODE></A> and not the current <A href="GDLObj.html"><CODE>GDLObj</CODE></A>.</P>
36<P>Note that a memory <STRONG>pointer</STRONG> is not platform independent. Use the <STRONG>offset</STRONG> value instead when you need to use a value across platforms.</P>
