43<p>The <code>SPPrepareSound</code> function initializes the AX voice specified by <SPAN class="argument">axvpb</SPAN>, based on the SE information, <code>sound</code>, and the playback frequency, <SPAN class="argument">sampleRate</SPAN>. If there is no need to convert the SE playback frequency, set the SE default playback frequency (<code>sound-&gt;sampleRate</code>) to <SPAN class="argument">sampleRate</SPAN>.</p>

45<p><strong><em>Note:</em></strong> The <code>SPPrepareSound</code> function sets only the <code>AXPBADDR</code> and <code>AXPBSRC</code> parameters for the specified AX voice. Calling this function does not start SE playback.</p>
