34<P>This function initializes the controllers. The <code>PADInit</code> function enables controller sampling to be executed by the Revolution hardware. The controller sampling rate is specified by the <CODE><A href="../si/SISetSamplingRate.html">SISetSamplingRate</A></CODE> function.</P>
35<P>Note: The video interface (VI) must be initialized using the <A href="../vi/VIInit.html"><CODE>VIInit</CODE></A> function before calling the <CODE>PADInit</CODE> function. This is because the VI controls the timing of the sampling of hardware controller data. </P>
