42<div class="section"><p>The file at the specified path is opened in <CODE>OpenMode</CODE>. A file is created and opened write-only if it does not exist at the specified path. If an error occurred while trying to open the file, it returns that error. 44<div class="section"><p>The file at the specified path is opened in <CODE>OpenMode</CODE>. A file is created and opened write-only if it does not exist at the specified path. This function returns any error that occurs while it is opening the file. <BR><B>Note:</B> This function uses a large amount of buffer space on the stack because it converts the path name from a multibyte character string into a wide character string. Pay careful attention to the stack size.</p></div>
