59<p>Starts up StreetPass (<a href="../../../../nn/cec/Overview.html">CEC</a>) operations.</p><p>Using this function transitions to a state in which communication can be started. The actual start of communication is controlled by the system ( <CODE><a href="../../../../nn/ndm/Overview.html">nn::ndm</a></CODE> ). Using this function does not cancel other communication (for example, Internet or local communication) or begin StreetPass immediately.<br /> The <CODE><a href="../../../../nn/cec/CTR/MessageBox/OpenMessageBox.html">MessageBox::OpenMessageBox</a></CODE> function calls <CODE>StopScanning</CODE> and transitions to the communication stopped state. The <CODE><a href="../../../../nn/cec/CTR/MessageBox/CloseMessageBox.html">MessageBox::CloseMessageBox</a></CODE> function calls <CODE>StartScanning(reset = false)</CODE> and transitions to the communication-enabled state. <br /> </p><!-- write here --></div>
