46The amount of time to wait can be specified using the argument <span class="argument">span</span>.

48If you specify a time, the function returns <CODE>true</CODE> if the Applet is already registered or if it is registered within that specified time; otherwise, it returns <CODE>false</CODE>.
49</P><P>If <CODE>NN_APPLET_WAIT_INFINITE</CODE> is specified in <span class="argument">span</span>, the function waits until the Applet is registered. The return value in this case is always <CODE>true</CODE>.
50</P><P>In <CODE>NN_APPLET_NO_WAIT</CODE> is specified in <span class="argument">span</span>, a check is made only once whether the Applet is registered and results are returned immediately.
