39<p>Initializes the applet library.</p><P>Applications must call this function. However, because the default <CODE>nninitSetup</CODE> calls this function you only need to do so if your application redefines <CODE>nninitSetup</CODE>.</P><P>Do not call this function more than once (including the call within <CODE>nninitSetup</CODE>).</P><P>If an application calls this function itself, it must do so at the very beginning. In addition, to enable the features of the applet library, you will need to call the <CODE>applet::Enable</CODE> function after this function.</P><P>Even though you can specify options with <SPAN class="argument">appletAttr</SPAN>, such as whether to switch rendering manually, as a general rule use the default arguments without specifying anything. This function is also called with the default arguments by <CODE>nninitSetup</CODE>.</P></div>
