Introduction

This document presents a detailed description of the graphics intermediate files, which are the data files that comprise the 3D models used in NintendoWare for CTR. It is written for creators of conversion programs and display programs who already have a grasp on graphics intermediate files.

Because graphics intermediate files use XML as the data format, familiarity with XML is required to understand the contents of this document.

The following conventions are used in this document: NintendoWare for CTR may sometimes be referred to as NintendoWare or NW4C. Graphics intermediate files may sometimes be referred to as intermediate files.
