Installing Maya Plug-Ins

Follow this procedure when manually setting up the Maya plug-ins.

If you are using Installer to install or uninstall the plug-ins, the following procedure is not necessary. (Currently, no installer has been prepared.)

Installation Procedure

Exit Maya

Exit Maya if it is currently running.

Setting the Environment Variables

Set the folder in which NintendoWare for CTR is installed in the environment variable NW4C_ROOT.

Set the folder where Maya is installed to the environment variables below.

This completes installation.
Maya must be launched from a Special Batch File in order to use this plug-in. If installed correctly, NW4C will be added to Maya's main menu. The documentation for the plug-in can be opened by selecting Help Index from the NW4C menu.

Installing Creative Studio

Creative Studio must be installed in order to use the merge and optimization operations of the Export plug-in because these processes are linked to Creative Studio.
(Optimization and Merge menu features included in Creative Studio are called inside the exporter.)

Uninstalling the Plug-In

Delete the environment variables set during installation.
This completes the uninstall process.
