Operations While Connected to the Viewer

This section explains the operations that can be performed while SoundMaker is connected to the Viewer.

Transferring Sound Archives

While connected to the Viewer, Sound archives are transferred automatically from SoundMaker to the Viewer when the operations shown below are executed.

Operating the Viewer from the GUI

While connected to the Viewer, the Viewer can be operated not only with the Controller, but also in part from the SoundMaker GUI.


Sound playback can be controlled in two ways: (1) using the "Playback," "Pause," and "Stop" buttons in the toolbar, or (2) using keys on the PC keyboard.
Below is a list of the Viewer key operations that can be performed from the SoundMaker GUI.

F10Stop the selected sound (enabled only if the sound is selected in the list)
Shift+SpacePlays the selected sound.

Note: The F9 and F10 shortcut keys will work in the Sound Set tab as well as the Bank tab, but the Shift+Space shortcut will only work in the Bank tab.
