Description of Initialize ( const wchar_t * )

Opens the directory in the specified path. Do not call this function if this object has already opened a directory.

This function does not return processing results and it is therefore impossible to handle errors. In general, use TryInitialize.

Description of Initialize ( const char * )

Opens the directory in the specified path. You cannot call this function if this object already has a directory open. This function uses a large amount of buffer space on the stack because it converts the path name from a multi-byte string into a wide string. Pay careful attention to the stack size.

This function does not return processing results and it is therefore impossible to handle errors. In general, use TryInitialize.
