You can use OSReportViewer to check logs written by OS(V)Report to Wii console NAND memory on the NDEV, the RVL-R, or the Wii console.
Log contents can also be copied to an SD Card.
Logs up to 12 MB can be saved.
OSReportViewer must be imported to NDEV hardware to use OSReportViewer.wad on NDEV hardware.
First, use Nmenu.elf to launch Nmenu stored in ($REVOLUTION_SDK_ROOT)/RVL/bin/tools.
Once Nmenu starts, an Import List is displayed. The file OSReportViewer.wad is included in this list and can be imported to Wii console NAND memory.
If you cannot find OSReportViewer.wad using Nmenu, it may be that the DvdRoot setting is incorrect or that OSReportViewer.wad is not included in DvdRoot/viewer.
If import is successful, press the B Button to move to the Title List.
If import has been successful, 0x024f5256 appears in the Title List.
To launch OSReportViewer, press the A Button.
To advance the log page, press the A Button or the Right Button.
To return the log page, press the B Button or the Left Button.
To jump to the first page of the log, press the - Button or the L Button (Nintendo GameCube Controller).
To jump to the last page of the log, press the + Button or the R Button (Nintendo GameCube Controller).
To copy the log to an SD Card, press the 1 Button or the Y Button (Nintendo GameCube Controller).
The log file is saved using the name convention OSReport****.log.
To delete logs currently saved in Wii console NAND memory, press the 2 Button or the X Button.
Use this when the size of log files has grown too large.
When deleting a log, you are asked to confirm the operation. Press the A Button to confirm or the B Button to cancel.
We recommend that you back up logs to an SD Card before deletion.
Always start OSReportViewer first before calling OSReportDestination in a user program.
Otherwise, memory for writing the log is not allocated, and it cannot be written to Wii console NAND memory.
