Creating SoundPlayer Files

To create SoundPlayer files, you must install NintendoWare for CTR and the corresponding version of CTR_SDK and at the same time set the CTRSDK_ROOT environment variable.

Operations that can currently be performed from the SoundMaker menu include those up to creating SoundPlayer .cci files that include a sound archive.
You must load the .cci file into PARTNER-CTR/S and run it to play back the sounds.

How to Create SoundPlayer Files

Select Preview > Start SoundPlayer to create a .cci file.


Process of SoundPlayer Creation

Selecting Preview > Start SoundPlayer will cause SoundMaker to perform the following series of operations automatically.

  • Create the sound archive (conversion)
  • Create a SoundPlayer executable file (SoundPlayer-TS.cci)
  • Open the folder that contains the file that was created in Windows Explorer
