Overview

Option Setting Types

There are two types of SoundMaker option settings available: tool settings (these settings are called options below) and project settings.

Option specifications are made in the [Tools] > [Options] dialog box.
Options are used to specify operation settings for the overall tool. Since this setting is saved in the initial settings file, it is always enabled under SoundMaker as long as it runs on the same computer.

Specify the Project settings using the Project Settings dialog found by clicking Project, then Project Settings.
Project settings are used to specify operation settings at the sound project level. Since this setting is saved in the sound project file, it is enabled even when the same sound project file is opened using a version of SoundMaker running on another computer.
