Introduction

This document brings together the information on confirmed operations of NintendoWare for CTR in the Windows 7 (64-bit) environment.

The problems that arose during the process of confirming operations are presented here as a list of known issues.

Known Issues

[Sound Development Environment] (SoundMaker) The Browse dialog for the Restore Project folder only shows expanded tree the first time

When you Specify folder to search, the first time folders are browsed the folder structure is shown as an expanded tree, but if file you want is not in the searched folder and you browse the folders again, the tree is not shown in expanded form.

[Sound Development Environment] (SoundMaker) Checked selections are cleared from the HTML Sound List's Output List

From the HTML Sound List tab of the Project Settings, if the Edit the Specified List window is opened by pressing the Edit the Specified List button and then closed, the checked selections for the Output List in the Output Item tab are all cleared.

From the HTML Sound List tab of the Project Settings, when the Edit the Specified List is pressed and a new list is created and the project reconverted, the HTML Sound List is output with the newly created settings and not with the settings indicated by the name of the output settings.

[Sound Development Environment] (SoundMaker) When a numerically named item is created without a prefix, it displays with an underscore at the start of the name

In the case where an item is being added to the sound list and the check box for Attach Prefix for item naming is cleared in the Project Settings, under these circumstances if the file being selected has a name that starts with a number, then when the item name is created from the file name an underscore symbol will display at the start of the item name. This does not happen if the item name begins with a letter.

[Sound Development Environment] (SoundMaker) Application error occurs when deleting item not in focus due to sort

A list item that was the focus will no longer be the focus after a name sort or other sort. In this state the Copy-Cut-Delete icon will remain lighted in the toolbar and an application error will occur if you press the Cut-Delete buttons.

When Select Item and Paste is opened from the Edit menu, an application error will occur when OK is pressed if any check box is selected.

[Sound Development Environment] (SoundMaker) Application error occurs on copy of Playback Button or Playback Time cells

An application error occurs when Copy Cell is executed from the Edit menu on a Sound List Playback Button or Playback Time cell. Moreover, the system will crash if the attempt is made to copy the cells using Ctrl + Shift + C.

[Sound Development Environment] (SoundMaker) Application error occurs when text in combo box is changed and other location is clicked

In combo boxes where text can be directly edited, an application error will occur if the cursor is double-clicked in some other location in the list when the conversion key has been pressed and text has been converted.

[Photoshop Plug-in] The method for installing PhotoshopCS2

In the NW4C for CTR Photoshop plug-in documentation, it says to install the plug-in by copying the file to [(Folder where Photoshop is installed\Plug-ins\Adobe Photoshop Only\]. However, the plug-in will also install if the file is copied one level higher inside Plug-ins.
