nn::boss::NsData::SetReadDataPosition Member Function

Syntax

nn::Result SetReadDataPosition(
     s64 position,
     PositionBase base
);

Arguments

Name Description
in position Specifies the new read position.
in base Specifies the base for changing the read position.

Return Values

Returns the function's execution result. Returns one of the Result values listed below.
Value Description
ResultSuccess Successfully changed read position.
ResultInvalidNsDataSeekPosition NS data seek position exceeds data size.
ResultNsDataNotFound The specified NS data is not found. It might have been automatically deleted.
ResultStorageAccessPermission You do not have storage access rights. Cannot access the expanded save region. Reconfirm your access rights.
ResultIpcNotSessionInitialized Either the session is not initialized or there are incompatible permissions. This Result is returned if this function is called before the Initialize or the InitializePriviledged function is called. Always call the Initialize or InitializePrivileged function first when you use the BOSS library.
A value other than the above. Unexpected error (see boss_Result.h for error details).

Description

Changes the read position in an NS data file. The interface is similar to that of file access. See PositionBase for details on the base for changing the read position.
